Abstract
At the beginning of the 21st century, the range of technologies available for use in teaching and learning foreign languages has become very diverse, and ways of using them in the educational process have become a priority in the language training of future specialists. Digital tools, as “technical cultural artifacts,” have long been a characteristic feature of the world of education in the 21st century, especially language education. Therefore, the relevance of the study is determined by the need to optimize the process of acquiring professional foreign language communication skills by modern students through the use of digital technologies alongside traditional teaching technologies. The article presents research on the integration of digital technologies into the process of learning English. Given the greater dependence of modern education on technology, the study examines the advantages of using digital technologies to adapt language training to the specific needs of students in various professional and academic fields. In addition, the article reveals the features of using digital Internet applications in stimulating student interest, improving access to authentic materials, and providing an individualized learning experience. The article emphasizes that this approach allows students to learn material faster and more effectively, as well as increase their motivation to learn a foreign language. The advantages of each type of digital foreign language learning are described, such as the ability to customize the program to the student's needs and the availability of learning from anywhere in the world. The possibility of freely using various methods and means of presenting, perceiving and transmitting information using modern digital technologies ensures the quality of the educational process and enables a high level of foreign language learning. However, in order to fully realize the benefits of integrating digital technologies into the educational process, it is necessary to solve the problems associated with accessibility, teacher training and platform overload.
