Abstract

The article examines the problem of developing performance skills of instrumental students in the context of modern music pedagogy. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to improve methodological approaches to the formation of professional mastery of future performing musicians in higher education institutions. The purpose of the article is to analyze pedagogical conditions and methodological means that contribute to the effective development of performance skills of instrumental students. The study uses a set of methods, including theoretical analysis of domestic and foreign scientific literature, generalization of pedagogical experience of leading music educational institutions, systematization of methodological approaches to instrumental-performing training. The essence of the concept of performance skills as a complex of technical, artistic-interpretive and psychological components of a musician's professional activity is revealed. The main principles of developmental teaching of instrumental students are highlighted, among which the leading place is occupied by the principles of individual approach, gradual complication of educational material, unity of technical and artistic development. Methodological approaches to the formation of performing technique are analyzed, including methods of purposeful work on sound production, articulation, dynamics and phrasing. Special attention is paid to the role of artistic reflection in the process of professional formation of a performer, which presupposes the ability to critically comprehend one's own musical activity and constant self-improvement. The significance of innovative technologies in music education is considered, including the use of digital platforms for analyzing performing technique, video recording for self-control and distance learning. The pedagogical conditions for the effective development of performance skills are determined, which include creating a motivational environment, ensuring systematic classes, applying a differentiated approach in accordance with the individual characteristics of students, integration of traditional and innovative teaching methods. The importance of the balance between individual classes and collective musical activities is emphasized, which contributes to the development of communicative competencies and stage mastery of future performers
